SENATE RESOLUTION

 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to
3learn of the death of Lois (Barrett) Hart of Georgetown, who
4passed away on January 24, 2019; and
 
5    WHEREAS, Lois Hart was born in Paris, Illinois to Charles
6and Clella (Wade) Barrett on March 28, 1946; she graduated from
7Sacred Heart Academy and later from Eastern Illinois
8University; she married Tim Hart on August 19, 1994; and
 
9    WHEREAS, Lois Hart loved teaching and helping children
10succeed in school; she was an inspiration to teachers around
11her because she put others first; and
 
12    WHEREAS, Lois Hart was a member of St. Mary's Catholic
13Church in Westville; she enjoyed supporting the La Salette boys
14in Olivet and attending family ball games and her
15grandchildren's events; and
 
16    WHEREAS, Lois Hart was preceded in death by her parents;
17her son, Brian Kelly; her sister, Ruth Dickerson; and her
18brother, Frank Barrett; and
 
19    WHEREAS, Lois Hart is survived by her husband, Tim; her
20children, Patrick (Angie) Kelly, Jason Hart, Alicia (Matthew)

1Ford, and Adam (Kim) Hart; her siblings, Doris Stone, Rose
2Smith, Fred Barrett, and Luella (Dave) Knight; and her
3grandchildren, Bryce, Jordan, Frankie, Christopher, Kevin,
4Cheyenne, Chase, Cameron, Evangelina, Tyler (Maddie), Timmy,
5and Tenley; therefore, be it
 
6    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE ONE HUNDRED FIRST GENERAL
7ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of
8Lois (Barrett) Hart and extend our sincere condolences to her
9family, friends, and all who knew and loved her; and be it
10further
 
11    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
12presented to the family of Lois Hart as an expression of our
13deepest sympathy.
