SENATE RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to learn of the death of John Patrick Rudd of Gages Lake, who passed away on July 23, 2019; and

WHEREAS, John Rudd was born to John W. and Patricia (O'Grady) Rudd on June 28, 1955; he grew up in Gurnee; and

WHEREAS, John Rudd was a retired Local 301 Teamster Ready Mix Driver; he also retired from the Warren Township Highway Department; and

WHEREAS, John Rudd will be remembered for his humor, laughter, and dancing; he loved his children and grandchildren fiercely and valued his friends and family; and

WHEREAS, John Rudd is survived by his partner of 30 years, Linda Rowan; his children, Katie (Hank) Paustenbach and John, Greg (Nicole), and Tracy Timm; his grandchildren, Johnny, Carissa, Tommy, Matthew, Haylie, Jessica, Henry, Mallory, Lucy, Tyler, and Hannah; his brothers, Tom (Amy), Tim (Joan), and Frank (Diane); and his sister, Sharon; therefore, be it

RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE ONE HUNDRED FIRST GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of John Patrick Rudd and extend our sincere condolences to his family, friends, and all who knew and loved him; and be it further

RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be presented to the family of John Rudd as an expression of our deepest sympathy.
