SENATE RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to learn of the death of Carol Mendoza of Park City, who passed away on July 2, 2019; and

WHEREAS, Carol Mendoza was born in Chicago to Stephen and Norma Feller on August 9, 1949; she married Francisco "Frank" Mendoza in Waukegan on July 26, 1983; and

WHEREAS, Carol Mendoza was a beautician and the owner and operator of Carol's Doll House in Deerfield; and

WHEREAS, Carol Mendoza volunteered with Providing Advocacy, Dignity and Shelter (PADS) for many years; and

WHEREAS, Carol Mendoza was preceded in death by her parents; and

WHEREAS, Carol Mendoza is survived by her husband of 36 years, Frank; her brother, Steve Feller; her brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Jose Mendoza, Alfredo Mendoza, Anastacia Mendoza, Guadalupe Mendoza, and Rosa Mendoza; her nephew, Charles Feller; and many nieces, nephews, and friends; therefore, be it

RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE ONE HUNDRED FIRST GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of Carol Mendoza and extend our sincere condolences to her family, friends, and all who knew and loved her; and be it further

RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be presented to the family of Carol Mendoza as an expression of our deepest sympathy.
