SENATE RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to learn of the death of Joseph Edward "Joe" Reinhardt of Park City, formerly of North Chicago, who passed away on August 2, 2018; and

WHEREAS, Joe Reinhardt was born in North Chicago on January 13, 1944; and

WHEREAS, Joe Reinhardt worked in the maintenance department of the Veterans Administration Hospital in North Chicago and retired in 2006 after 38 years of service; and

WHEREAS, Joe Reinhardt was a member of Holy Family Church (Most Blessed Trinity) in Waukegan; he was an avid collector of World War II memorabilia; he enjoyed walking, watching television, and spending time with his best friend, Miguel Camacho; and

WHEREAS, Joe Reinhardt was preceded in death by his sister, Vada Welch, and his brothers, John, Lloyd, William, and Glen Reinhardt; and

WHEREAS, Joe Reinhardt is survived by his many nieces and nephews; his brother Charles Reinhardt; and his sister, Wynell Butzine; therefore, be it

RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE ONE HUNDRED FIRST GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of Joseph Edward "Joe" Reinhardt and extend our sincere condolences to his family, friends, and all who knew and loved him; and be it further

RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be presented to the family of Joe Reinhardt as an expression of our deepest sympathy.
