SENATE RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to learn of the death of Martha S. McKellar of Glendale Heights, who passed away on April 21, 2019; and

WHEREAS, Martha McKellar was a dedicated librarian for over 30 years; she worked in many elementary schools and finished her career at Heritage Lakes Elementary; and

WHEREAS, Later in life, Martha McKellar volunteered in the library at Wheaton Bible Church; and

WHEREAS, Martha McKellar was the beloved wife of the late David Edward, the loving mother of Russell (Laura), Daniel (Kelly), and Mary McKellar, and the dear grandmother of Meghan (Michael Leach) McKellar, David McKellar, and Katherine McKellar; therefore, be it

RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE ONE HUNDRED FIRST GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of Martha S. McKellar and extend our sincere condolences to her family, friends, and all who knew and loved her; and be it further

RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be presented to the family of Martha McKellar as an expression of our deepest sympathy.
