SENATE RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to learn of the death of Olga C. Leginski of North Chicago, who passed away on March 25, 2019 at the age of 102; and

WHEREAS, Olga Leginski was born in North Chicago on September 18, 1916; and

WHEREAS, Olga Leginski was employed at the Shore Acres Country Club for over 25 years; and

WHEREAS, Olga Leginski was a member of the North Chicago Senior Citizens Club, the Polish Home, the Holy Name Society, Foss Park Seniors, and Queen of Peace Catholic Church in North Chicago; and

WHEREAS, Olga Leginski was preceded in death by her husband of 66 years, Joseph; her son, Michael; and her sisters, Ann and Stella; and

WHEREAS, Olga Leginski is survived by her daughter, Constance (Meldan) Danielson; her daughter-in-law, Joyce Leginski; her grandchildren, Joseph (Christina) Danielson, Maria (Ryan) May, Robert (Cami) Danielson, Mark (Beth) Leginski, and Lisa (Chris) Leynes; and her great-grandchildren, Reagan May, Connor May, Max Leginski, Brynn Leginski, Livia Leynes, Noah Leynes, and Hailey Rivera; therefore, be it

RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE ONE HUNDRED FIRST GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of Olga C. Leginski and extend our sincere condolences to her family, friends, and all who knew and loved her; and be it further

RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be presented to the family of Olga Leginski as an expression of our deepest sympathy.
