SENATE RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to learn of the death of Winifred Staunton, longtime resident of Edison Park; and

WHEREAS, Winifred Staunton was a native of Srah, Tourmakeady, County Mayo, Ireland; and

WHEREAS, Winifred Staunton was the beloved wife of the late Patrick Staunton; the loving mother of Kay (Kevin) Moran, Mary (Stuart) Anderson, Tricia (Tim) Travers, Michael (Eileen) Staunton, Rita (Joe) McGovern, and John (Jean) Staunton; the proud grandmother of 18 and great-grandmother of 24; the dear sister of the late Mary (the late Mike) Moran, the late Nora (the late Sonny) Bourke, the late Bridget (the late Paddy) Walsh, the late John Lally, the late Patrick (Mary) Lally, the late Thomas Lally, and the late Philip (Mary and the late Maureen) Lally; and the loving aunt of Mickey (Noreen) Heneghan; therefore, be it

RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE ONE HUNDRED FIRST GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of Winifred Staunton and extend our sincere condolences to her family, friends, and all who knew and loved her, both here and in Ireland; and be it further

RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be presented to the family of Winifred Staunton as an expression of our deepest sympathy.
