SENATE RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to learn of the death of Daryl L. Crater of South Wilmington, who passed away on December 31, 2018; and

WHEREAS, Daryl Crater was born in Morris to Viola (Domagala) and Donald Dale Crater Sr. on September 3, 1963; and

WHEREAS, Daryl Crater retired from the Laborers Union, Local #75 in Crest Hill; and

WHEREAS, Daryl Crater was a member of the Fireman's Beach Club in South Wilmington and the South Wilmington Sportsman's Club in Essex; he enjoyed fishing, hunting, and kayaking, and he was a skilled chef, especially when it came to grilling; he was an avid fan of the Chicago Cubs; and

WHEREAS, Daryl Crater was preceded in death by his father; and

WHEREAS, Daryl Crater is survived by his daughter, Samantha (fiance, Brandon Jordanov); his mother; his brothers, Donald Crater Jr. and Robert (Cheryl) Crater; his nieces and nephews, Chad (Betsy Elberts) Crater and Carissa (Kyle Miller) Crater, Christina (Jason) Ashburn and Benjamin (Megan) Crater; his great-nephews, Hunter and Peyton Welsh and Brayden Crater; and his lifelong best friend, Ray Sinkular; therefore, be it

RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE ONE HUNDRED FIRST GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of Daryl L. Crater and extend our sincere condolences to his family, friends, and all who knew and loved him; and be it further

RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be presented to the family of Daryl Crater as an expression of our deepest sympathy.
