SENATE RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to learn of the death of Gary M. Riley of Homewood, who passed away on February 19, 2019; and

WHEREAS, Gary Riley was born on March 2, 1947; he was a graduate of Prairie du Chien Campion High School in Wisconsin and Loras College in Dubuque, Iowa; and

WHEREAS, Gary Riley served in the United States Army during the Vietnam War; and

WHEREAS, Gary Riley was the loving husband of Ellen (Kane) Riley, the dear father of Martin and Terri Riley, and the grandfather of Liz; therefore, be it

RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE ONE HUNDRED FIRST GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of Gary M. Riley and extend our sincere condolences to his family, friends, and all who knew and loved him; and be it further

RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be presented to the family of Gary Riley as an expression of our deepest sympathy.
