SENATE RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to learn of the death of Calvin D. "Dannie" Tharp, formerly of Mahomet, who passed away on April 12, 2020; and

WHEREAS, Calvin Tharp served in the U.S. Navy; and

WHEREAS, Calvin Tharp was the owner and operator of Mahomet Feed and Farm Supply for many years; and

WHEREAS, Calvin Tharp is survived by his wife, Norma; his daughters, Gale (Bob) Brandner and Glenna Tharp; and his sister, Nancy (John) Gard; therefore, be it

RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE ONE HUNDRED FIRST GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of Calvin D. "Dannie" Tharp and extend our sincere condolences to his family, friends, and all who knew and loved him; and be it further

RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be presented to the family of Calvin Tharp as an expression of our deepest sympathy.
