SENATE RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to learn of the death of Judy K. Clark of Rapids City, Illinois, who passed away on January 31, 2020; and

WHEREAS, Judy Clark was born to Alvin and Helen (Thornton) Mullery in Moline on April 19, 1944; she proudly served in the United States Air Force during the Vietnam War; she married Donald R. Clark on October 27, 1966 in Bowen; and

WHEREAS, Judy Clark was preceded in death by her parents, Alvin and Helen (Thornton) Mullery; and her siblings, Paul Thornton, Glenn Gutting, Jean Collins, Shirley Burrell, Keith Gutting, Gary Mullery, Wanda Carr, and Robert Mullery; and

WHEREAS, Judy Clark is survived by her husband, Donald R. Clark; her children, Scott (Julie) Clark, Steffany Clark, Regina (Rob) Sowers, and Kevin (Sandy) Clark; her grandchildren, Adam, Jordan, Evan, Hayley, Lukas, Nathan, Amber, Josh (Taylor), and Brandon; and her extended family Jorge and Rhonda Tapia; therefore, be it

RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE ONE HUNDRED FIRST GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of Judy K. Clark and extend our sincere condolences to her family, friends, and all who knew and loved her; and be it further

RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be presented to the family of Judy Clark as an expression of our deepest sympathy.
