HOUSE RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois House of Representatives wish to congratulate Logan Searle on achieving the rank of Eagle Scout; and

WHEREAS, Logan Searle is a member of Boy Scouts of America Troop 297, Pathway to Adventure Council; and

WHEREAS, During Logan Searle's 11 years with the Boy Scouts, he has learned numerous skills, hiked many miles, mastered safe and responsible shooting skills, fished, cycled, and camped dozens of nights; and

WHEREAS, Logan Searle also enjoys participating in his church youth group and excels at both the string and electric bass, which earned him a spot with the symphony orchestra as a sophomore at his high school; he is also the principal bassist in the Schaumburg Youth Symphony Orchestra; and

WHEREAS, Logan Searle takes college advanced placement courses and hopes to study computer science at Purdue University; and

WHEREAS, Logan Searle's Eagle Scout project benefited the Children's Advocacy Center of North and Northwest Cook County in Hoffman Estates, where he built a pergola in the butterfly garden; therefore, be it

RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE ONE HUNDRED FIRST GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we congratulate Logan Searle on achieving the rank of Eagle Scout and wish him the best in all his future endeavors; and be it further

RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be presented to Logan Searle as a symbol of our respect and esteem.
