1     AN ACT concerning regulation.

2     Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois,
3 represented in the General Assembly:

4     Section 5. The Department of Professional Regulation Law of
5 the Civil Administrative Code of Illinois is amended by adding
6 Section 2105-80 as follows:

7     (20 ILCS 2105/2105-80 new)
8     Sec. 2105-80. Optometric designated investigator. The
9 Department shall employ an investigator who is required to
10 devote at least 50% of his or her time to the investigation of
11 complaints that allege a violation of the Illinois Optometric
12 Practice Act of 1987 or its rules.
