| 1 | AMENDMENT TO HOUSE BILL 3487 | ||||||
| 2 | AMENDMENT NO. ______. Amend House Bill 3487 by replacing | ||||||
| 3 | everything after the enacting clause with the following: | ||||||
| 4 | "Section 5. The Department of Professional Regulation Law | ||||||
| 5 | of the Civil Administrative Code of Illinois is amended by | ||||||
| 6 | changing Section 2105-368 as follows: | ||||||
| 7 | (20 ILCS 2105/2105-368) | ||||||
| 8 | Sec. 2105-368. Data on applications. In conjunction with | ||||||
| 9 | applications for licensure and renewals, the Department shall | ||||||
| 10 | request, and applicants may voluntarily provide, demographic | ||||||
| 11 | information that includes sex, ethnicity, race, and | ||||||
| 12 | disability, primary language spoken, anticipated date of | ||||||
| 13 | retirement, type of employment, and zip code. On or before | ||||||
| 14 | March 1 of each calendar year, the Department shall publish a | ||||||
| 15 | report on the Department's website that contains the | ||||||
| 16 | demographic information it collected the preceding calendar | ||||||

| 1 | year, the number of applications for licensure and renewal of | ||||||
| 2 | licensure it received in the preceding calendar year, and the | ||||||
| 3 | number of applicants who were denied licensure in the | ||||||
| 4 | preceding calendar year regardless of whether application was | ||||||
| 5 | made in that calendar year. | ||||||
