AMENDMENT TO HOUSE BILL 3087

2    AMENDMENT NO. ______. Amend House Bill 3087 on page 3, by 
3replacing lines 4 through 7 with the following:
4    "(h) No retail distributor operating a pharmacy, and no 
5pharmacist or pharmacy technician, shall knowingly distribute 
6to a single person more than 3.6 grams per day or 7.5 grams in 
7a 30-day period of a targeted methamphetamine precursor 2 
8targeted packages in a single retail transaction."; and
 
9on page 6, immediately below line 5, by inserting the 
10following:
11        "(5) Nothing in this subsection (e) applies to a 
12    manufacturer of products containing methamphetamine 
13    precursors sold in or brought into this State that are 
14    available only pursuant to a valid prescription."; and
 
15on page 6, line 6, by replacing "(5)" with "(6)".
