Synopsis As Introduced
Amends the Clean Coal FutureGen for Illinois Act of 2011. Makes a technical change in a Section concerning the short title.

Senate Floor Amendment No. 1
Deletes reference to:
20 ILCS 1108/1
Adds reference to:
15 ILCS 50/10
15 ILCS 50/25 new

Replaces everything after the enacting clause. Amends the Gubernatorial Boards and Commissions Act. Provides that the uniform application that a person may use to apply for appointment to a board or commission shall include a data field where the applicant shall disclose his or her ethnicity, gender, and disability status for reporting purposes. Provides that the Governor shall file an annual report with the General Assembly and the Legislative Research Unit detailing: the demographic information (ethnicity, gender, and disability status) of each appointment made by the Governor; the aggregate demographic information for persons who applied for an appointment with the Governor's office but were not appointed; and the demographic composition of the gubernatorial appointees on each board, commission, and task force. Provides that the Legislative Research Unit shall publish an annual report detailing the demographic composition of the gubernatorial appointees on each board, commission, and task force.

Deletes references to the Legislative Research Unit. Provides that the Governor (rather than the Legislative Research Unit) shall electronically publish (rather than just publish) the annual report detailed in the bill.
