Synopsis As Introduced Amends the Illinois Income Tax Act. Provides that a credit against withholding taxes in an amount equal to the amount withheld with respect to wages paid by a private employer while the employee is on organ donation leave may not exceed $20,833.33 (rather than $1,000) for each employee who takes organ donation leave. Defines "Department" for these purposes to mean the Department of Revenue. Effective immediately.
