Fiscal Note (Dept. of Public Health) | |
HB 2514, as introduced, will have an estimated fiscal impact of almost $400,000 on the Department for full year implementation. The costs estimated for implementation of HB 2514 include personnel services costs necessary to employ a staff physician to manage the program and review and approve medical statements to determine the qualifying persons and a support staff person to manage the registration program. The Department is currently unable to administer the provisions of the proposed "Compassionate Use of Medical Cannabis Pilot Program" without additional personnel resources. |
