New Act |
Fiscal Note (Department of Transportation) | |
The reporting requirements imposed by this legislation will necessitate changes in the Department's computer program to provide the appropriate data. It is estimated that it will take six months and cost $50,000 to complete the conversion. There will also be an increase in labor costs. The staff costs cannot be estimated at this time. The cost of properties acquired by the Illinois Department of Transportation associated with ongoing toll highway projects is approximately $51 million. Until the parcels have been appraised for the current fair market value, there is no way of determining the true fiscal impact of this legislation. |
