Synopsis As Introduced Amends the School Code. Provides that the State Board of Education shall assess high school students using a college and career ready determination that shall be accepted by this State's public institutions of higher education for the purpose of student application or admissions consideration.
Senate Committee Amendment No. 1 Replaces everything after the enacting clause. Amends the School Code. Provides that one of the State assessments for high school students shall include tests in the areas of English language arts, reading, mathematics, and science for the purpose of student application or admissions to public institutions of higher education.
House Floor Amendment No. 3 Replaces everything after the enacting clause with provisions of the bill as introduced.
