Synopsis As Introduced
Amends the Illinois Estate and Generation-Skipping Transfer Tax Act. Makes a technical change in a Section concerning the short title.

35 ILCS 120/2-5

Replaces everything after the enacting clause. Amends the Use Tax Act, the Service Use Tax Act, the Service Occupation Tax Act, and the Retailers' Occupation Tax Act. Provides that firearm safety devices, including safes, lock boxes, trigger and barrel locks and other items, are exempt from taxation under the Acts.
