Synopsis As Introduced
Amends the Medical Assistance Article of the Illinois Public Aid Code. In regard to the nursing home prescreening project, requires the Department of Healthcare and Family Services, in conjunction with other specified State agencies, to execute written interagency agreements no later than October 1, 2013 to effect the establishment of procedures to permit providers immediate access to eligibility scores. Effective immediately.

House Floor Amendment No. 3
Replaces everything after the enacting clause. Amends the Medical Assistance Article of the Illinois Public Aid Code. In regard to the nursing home prescreening project, requires the Department of Healthcare and Family Services, in conjunction with other specified State agencies, to, no later than October 1, 2013, establish procedures to permit long term care providers access to eligibility scores for individuals with an admission date who are seeking or receiving services from the long term care provider. Effective immediately.
