Synopsis As Introduced
Amends the Illinois Vehicle Code, Clerks of Courts Act, and the Unified Code of Corrections to provide that any person who receives court supervision shall pay an additional fee of $30 (instead of $20). Provides that any person who receives a disposition of court supervision for a Vehicle Code violation or a similar local ordinance shall pay an additional fee of $30 (instead of $20). Provides that $20 of the $30 (instead of the $20) shall be deposited into the State Police Vehicle Fund in the State treasury and $10 of the $30 shall be deposited into the Driver's Education Fund.

Senate Committee Amendment No. 1
Further amends the Illinois Vehicle Code. Provides that as to the additional court supervision fee of $30, $20 of the $30 shall be deposited into the State Police Vehicle Fund in the State treasury, $9 of the $30 shall be deposited into the Driver's Education Fund and $1 of the $30 shall be deposited into the Circuit Court Clerk Operation and Administrative Fund (instead of $10 of the $30 shall be deposited into the Driver's Education Fund).

Senate Committee Amendment No. 2
Further amends the Illinois Vehicle Code. Provides that any person who receives (instead of any person who, after a court appearance in the same matter, receives) a disposition of court supervision for a Code violation or a similar local ordinance violation shall pay an additional fee of $30.

House Committee Amendment No. 1
Replaces everything after the enacting clause with the engrossed bill and makes changes. Makes technical changes in the Illinois Vehicle Code, Clerks of the Court Act, and Unified Code of Corrections regarding fees that apply when a person receives a disposition of court supervision for a violation of the Illinois Vehicle Code. Amends provisions of the Illinois Vehicle Code and Unified Code of Corrections to eliminate a requirement that a person make a court appearance in order for certain fees to apply when a person receives a disposition of court supervision for a violation of the Illinois Vehicle Code.
