Synopsis As Introduced
Amends the State Finance Act to create the Save Our Sight Fund. Amends the Illinois Vehicle Code. Provides that the Secretary of State shall print on its standard certificate of title application form a provision indicating that if the applicant wishes to contribute $1 to the Save Our Sight Fund, he or she may do so by stating the amount of the contribution ($1) on the application form. Provides that the Secretary of State shall also make available to an applicant for a certificate of title informational materials on the importance of eye care and safety. Specifies the purposes for the use of funds in the Save Our Sight Fund. Effective immediately.
