Synopsis As Introduced
Amends the County Care for Persons with Developmental Disabilities Act. Provides that the county board of any county with a 3-member county board for care and treatment of persons with a developmental disability may provide that that board shall consist of 5 members. Sets forth the terms of the additional members. Effective immediately.

House Committee Amendment No. 1
Provides that there is no rulemaking authority under the amendatory Act, but that the Governor may suggest rules by filing them with the General Assembly and requesting that the General Assembly authorize such rulemaking by law, enact the suggested rules into law, or take other appropriate action in the General Assembly's discretion.
