Synopsis As Introduced
Amends the Wildlife Code. Provides that the open deer hunting season shall be no longer than 16 days (now 14) and shall not begin until September 1st (now November 1st).

Senate Committee Amendment No. 1
Adds reference to:
520 ILCS 5/2.38from Ch. 61, par. 2.38
520 ILCS 5/3.5from Ch. 61, par. 3.5

Deletes everything after the enacting clause. Amends the Wildlife Code. Creates a special 2 day, youth-only hunting season between September 1 and October 31 of each year. Provides that no person shall (i) loan or transfer to another person any license, permit or tag issued under the Wildlife Code or (ii) use or possess in the field any license, permit, or tag issued to another person. Provides penalties for certain violations of the Code.

Senate Floor Amendment No. 2
