Synopsis As Introduced
Amends the Criminal Code of 1961. Provides that theft of property exceeding $100,000 in value from a charitable organization is a Class X felony (rather than a Class 1 felony).

House Floor Amendment No. 1
Provides that the definition of charitable organization also includes the definition of charitable organization in the Solicitation for Charity Act.
