Synopsis As Introduced
Appropriates $250,000 from the General Revenue Fund to the Department of Public Health for a grant to The Children's Place Association to conduct 2 pilot projects to provide HIV and AIDS testing and counseling services. Effective July 1, 2008.

 Balanced Budget Note (Office of Management and Budget)
 HB 5306, if enacted into law, will lead to an unbalanced budget for Fiscal Year 2009 by placing additional spending pressure in the amount of $250,000 on the General Revenue Fund. The bill provides no revenue to support the appropriation, nor is any included in the Governor's proposed budget.
