Synopsis As Introduced Amends the Criminal Code of 1961 and the Methamphetamine Control and Community Protection Act. Provides that a person who commits any of various offenses in which the victim is 60 years of age or older shall receive a penalty one class higher than the penalty he or she would receive under current law. Provides that if a violation of the offense is a Class X felony, the defendant may be sentenced to a maximum term of imprisonment of 60 years. Amends the Unified Code of Corrections. Requires the court to impose an extended term sentence upon any offender who is convicted of any felony committed against a person 60 years of age or older at the time of the offense or such person's property.
