Synopsis As Introduced Amends the Unified Code of Corrections. Establishes various conditions of parole and mandatory supervised release required of registered sex offenders. Effective January 1, 2005.
House Committee Amendment No. 1 Deletes all. Reinserts the provisions of the bill as introduced. Eliminates various conditions of parole or mandatory supervised release imposed upon sex offenders. Permits the sex offender to be electronically monitored for a minimum of 12 months from the date of release. Requires the sex offender to reside only at a Department of Corrections approved location and to comply with all requirements of the Sex Offender Registration Act. Effective January 1, 2005.
