Synopsis As Introduced
Amends the Use Tax Act, the Service Use Tax Act, the Service Occupation Tax Act, and the Retailers' Occupation Tax Act. Exempts the use or sale of certain aircraft and aircraft parts and materials. Provides that the sunset provisions under the Acts do not apply to these exemptions. Effective immediately.

Adds reference to:

Deletes everything after the enacting clause. Amends the Use Tax Act. Provides a tax exemption for the use of aircraft that: (i) leave this State after the purchase of the aircraft; (ii) are temporarily located in this State for the purpose of a prepurchase evaluation; or (iii) are temporarily located in this State for the purpose of a post-sale customization. Amends the Retailers' Occupation Tax Act. Provides a tax exemption for the sale of aircraft that leave this State after the purchase of the aircraft. Provides that the Acts' sunset provisions do not apply to these exemptions. Effective immediately.
