Synopsis As Introduced Amends the Counties Code. Provides that, in each county in which a Children's Advocacy Center provides services, the county board may adopt a mandatory fee of up to $5 to be paid by a defendant on a judgment of guilty or a grant of supervision under certain Sections of the Unified Code of Corrections.
House Committee Amendment No. 1 Provides that certain county boards may adopt a mandatory fee of between $5 and $30 (instead of $5) to be paid by certain defendants and deposited into an account specifically for the operation and administration of a Children's Advocacy Center.
