Synopsis As Introduced Amends the Public University Uniform Admission Pilot Program Act. Makes a technical change in a Section concerning the short title.
Replaces everything after the enacting clause. Amends the Educator Licensure Article of School Code. Provides that, beginning with the 2021-2022 school year, in order to obtain a license under the Article, a student teacher candidate may not be required to videotape himself or herself or his or her students in a classroom setting. Effective immediately.
House Committee Amendment No. 1 Replaces everything after the enacting clause. Amends the Educator Licensure Article of School Code. With regard to licensure candidates being required to pass a teacher performance assessment, provides that a candidate may not be required to submit test materials by video submission. Effective immediately.
