Synopsis As Introduced Amends the Illinois Crime Reduction Act of 2009. Adds definition of "offender" and deletes definition of "violent offender". Provides that all offenders (rather than just non-violent offenders) are eligible for the Adult Redeploy Illinois program.
House Committee Amendment No. 1 Replaces everything after the enacting clause. Amends the Illinois Crime Reduction Act of 2009. Reinserts the provisions of the bill but provides that offenders who are charged with or convicted of a probation-eligible offense (rather than any offense) may participate in the Adult Redeploy Illinois program.
