Synopsis As Introduced Amends the Illinois Lottery Law. Provides that neither the Department of Revenue, the Lottery Control Board, the Governor, nor any other officer or employee of the executive branch of State government may sell, convey, lease, transfer, or otherwise dispose of any asset of the State Lottery with a fair market value of over $1,000,000. Further provides that the prohibition may not be defeated by splitting a unitary asset and attempting to make the disposition in parts and that any attempted disposition that violates the prohibition is void. Effective immediately.
