Synopsis As Introduced
Reconstitutes the Illinois Reform Commission (created pursuant to Executive Order No. 1 of the Lieutenant Governor of January 16, 2009) to undertake a focused evaluation of both existing Illinois law and the operational practices of the State from the perspective of ethics in government, proposing, as the Commission deems appropriate, amendments to existing law. Requires an initial report by April 26, 2009, and any supplementary reports the Commission deems appropriate by May 31, 2009.
