Synopsis As Introduced
Amends the State Employee Article of the Illinois Pension Code. Includes persons employed on a full-time basis by the Illinois Department of Transportation in the positions of sign hanger and sign hanger foreman in the definition of "State highway maintenance worker". Effective immediately.

	Pension Note (Commission on Gov't Forecasting and Accountability)
	According to IDOT, there are fewer than 20 members of SERS who would be added to the alternative formula by Senate Bill 34. Consequently, the fiscal impact has not been calculated, but is expected to be minor.
