Synopsis As Introduced Amends the Sex Offender Registration Act. Includes a violation or attempted violation of involuntary sexual servitude of a minor or trafficking in persons based on involuntary sexual servitude of a minor as a sex offense for purposes of registration.
Senate Committee Amendment No. 1 Replaces everything after the enacting clause. Amends the Sex Offender Registration Act. Includes in the definition of "sex offense" under the Act a violation or attempted violation of the offense of involuntary servitude or trafficking in persons if the victim is under 18 years of age or a violation of involuntary sexual servitude of a minor, if the person was convicted on or after the effective date of the bill.
