Synopsis As Introduced
Contains a preamble concerning COVID-19, the Gubernatorial Disaster Proclamations declaring all counties in the State of Illinois as a disaster area, and other matters. Pursuant to the Illinois Emergency Management Agency Act, orders the following: (1) for the duration of the Gubernatorial Disaster Proclamations, or until the Department of Agriculture announces a new date no later than the termination of the Gubernatorial Disaster Proclamations, certain requirements of the Cannabis Regulation and Tax Act and its implementing rules regarding the issuance of craft grower licenses, infuser licenses, and transporting organization licenses are suspended and the Department of Agriculture shall provide notice to the public of the date those licenses will be issued; (2) for the duration of the Gubernatorial Disaster Proclamations, or until the Department of Agriculture issues transporting organization licenses under the Cannabis Regulation and Tax Act, whichever is sooner, the requirement that a cultivation center shall not transport cannabis or cannabis-infused products to a craft grower, dispensing organization, infuser organization, or laboratory licensed under the Act unless it has obtained a transporting organization license is suspended; (3) the deadline for submission of Community College Cannabis Vocational Pilot Program applications is suspended until September 1, 2020, or until the termination of the Gubernatorial Disaster Proclamations, whichever is sooner. Provides that the provisions of this Executive Order are severable.
