Synopsis As Introduced
Contains a preamble concerning COVID-19, the Gubernatorial Disaster Proclamations declaring all counties in the State of Illinois as a disaster area, and other matters. Pursuant to the Illinois Emergency Management Agency Act, orders, effective immediately and for the remainder of the duration of the Gubernatorial Disaster Proclamations, the suspension of specified provisions of the Assisted Living and Shared Housing Act, the Nursing Home Care Act, the MC/DD Act, the ID/DD Community Care Act, the Specialized Mental Health Rehabilitation Act of 2013, the Illinois Plumbing License Law, the Structural Pest Control Act, the Grade A Pasteurized Milk and Milk Products Act, the Illinois Food, Drug and Cosmetic Act, the Mobile Home Park Act, the Tanning Facility Permit Act, the Tattoo and Body Piercing Establishment Registration Act, and the Illinois Speech-Language Pathology and Audiology Practice Act. Provides that this Executive Order and any emergency rules adopted by the Department of Public Health shall be interpreted consistent with any waivers, regulations, and other official guidance issued by the federal Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services or the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services pertaining to nurse aides. Provides that the provisions of this Executive Order are severable.
