Illinois General Assembly - Bill Status for EO2016

Contains a preamble concerning Coronavirus Disease 2019 (COVID-19), the Gubernatorial Disaster Proclamation declaring all counties in the State of Illinois as a disaster area on March 9, 2020, and other matters. Pursuant to the Illinois Emergency Management Agency Act, orders the following for the duration of the Gubernatorial Disaster Proclamation: (1) specified provisions of the Secured Transactions Article of the Uniform Commercial Code regarding the possession or usability of a vehicle and the Illinois Vehicle Code regarding vehicle repossession are suspended; this Executive Order shall not be construed as relieving an obligation to make payments or comply with other obligations under a loan agreement or otherwise; (2) specified provisions of the Private Detective, Private Alarm, Private Security, Fingerprint Vendor, and Locksmith Act of 2004 requiring training to be completed in the classroom are suspended and training may be completed through online instruction.
