Amends the School Code. Makes a technical change in a Section concerning charter schools.

 Does not pre-empt home rule authority.

 Pension Note (H-AM 1)(Comm on Gov't Forecasting & Accountability)
 Would not impact any public pension fund or retirement system in Illinois.

 Would not affect the level of state indebtedness.

 Judicial Note (H-AM 1)(Admin Office of the Illinois Courts)
 This legislation would neither increase nor decrease the number of judges needed in the State of Illinois.

 Fiscal Note (H-AM 1)(Illinois State Board of Education)
 The State Board of Education believes that HB 2013 (H-AM 1) will cost $45,000,000 in FY07. Funding for this is included in the FY07 budget.
