Illinois General Assembly - Bill Status for EO2013

Contains a preamble concerning Coronavirus Disease 2019 (COVID-19), the Gubernatorial Disaster Proclamation declaring all counties in the State of Illinois as a disaster area on March 9, 2020, and other matters. Pursuant to the Illinois Emergency Management Agency Act, and consistent with the powers set forth in the State's public health laws, orders, for the duration of the Gubernatorial Disaster Proclamation, that all admissions to the Illinois Department of Corrections from all Illinois county jails are suspended, with exceptions at the sole discretion of the Director of the Illinois Department of Corrections for limited essential transfers, and that the Director of the Illinois Department of Corrections will work closely with county sheriffs and other partners in the criminal justice system to discuss any potential exceptions that may be necessary.
