Illinois General Assembly - Bill Status for EO2008

Contains a preamble concerning Coronavirus Disease 2019 (COVID-19), the Gubernatorial Disaster Proclamation declaring all counties in the State of Illinois as a disaster area on March 9, 2020, and other matters. Pursuant to the Illinois Emergency Management Agency Act, orders, for the duration of the Gubernatorial Disaster Proclamation and for 30 days following its termination, that the following statutory provisions are suspended: (1) Illinois Vehicle Code provisions regarding the expiration of vehicle registrations, driver's licenses, permits, and parking decals issued by the Secretary of State; Illinois Identification Card Act provisions regarding the expiration of identification cards issued by the Secretary of State; and hearings conducted by the Secretary of State under the Illinois Vehicle Code and the Secretary of State Merit Employment Code; (2) specified Illinois Governmental Ethics Act and Executive Order 2015-09 provisions regarding the filing of statements of economic interests.
