Synopsis As Introduced Amends the Property Tax Code. Makes a technical change in a Section concerning the definition of "taxing district".
Fiscal Note, House Floor Amendment No. 1 (Dept. of Revenue)
HB 1545 (H-AM 1) will have a positive impact on State revenue due to an increase in the number of transactions for which the real estate transfer tax is collected, but the amount cannot be determined, as the Department of Revenue does not have the data to determine the fiscal impact. The lack of data results from the affected transfers being exempt from paying the real estate transfer tax and also being exempt from filing a transfer declaration.
Fiscal Note (Dept. of Revenue)
HB 1545 will have no fiscal impact on State revenue.
