Synopsis As Introduced
Amends the Workers' Compensation Act. Provides that no employer shall be required to pay temporary partial or total disability benefits to an employee who has been discharged for cause. Provides procedures for notice and hearings. Defines "discharge for cause" as a discharge resulting from the employee's voluntary violation of a rule or policy of the employer not caused by the employee's disability. Effective immediately.
