Synopsis As Introduced Amends the Civil Administrative Code of Illinois. Makes a technical change in a Section concerning the Department of Central Management Services.
Replaces everything after the enacting clause. Amends the Legislative Commission Reorganization Act of 1984. Provides that the Architect of the Capitol, in conjunction with the Board of the Office of the Architect of the Capitol and the Secretary of State, shall designate at least one mothers' lactation and wellness room in the State Capitol Building, the Howlett Building, and the Stratton Building. Provides that the design and specifications of the rooms shall comply with the recommendations of the American Institute of Architects. Effective immediately.
Senate Floor Amendment No. 1 Replaces everything after the enacting clause. Reinserts the engrossed bill with the following change: removes a requirement that the design and specifications of the rooms shall comply with the recommendations of the American Institute of Architects. Effective immediately.
