SENATE RESOLUTION

 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to
3learn of the death of Isabella M. Petersen Peck of Joliet, who
4passed away on November 20, 2016, at the age of 94; and
 
5    WHEREAS, Isabella Peck was the owner and operator of the
6Clip and Curl Salon in Joliet; and
 
7    WHEREAS, Isabella Peck was a lifelong member of Bethel
8Baptist Church and Faith Bible Church; and
 
9    WHEREAS, Isabella Peck was preceded in death by her
10parents, Joseph and Nora (Miller) Broskey; her first husband,
11Harley Petersen; her siblings, Mary (Bill) Magness, Joseph
12(Jean) Broskey, and Beatrice (Edwin) Rajuniec; and her
13sister-in-law, Sherry Broskey; and
 
14    WHEREAS, Isabella Peck was the beloved wife of Murrie Peck;
15the loving mother of Earl (Karen) Petersen, James (Carol)
16Petersen, Anita Petersen, and Juanita Petersen; the stepmother
17of Lisa (John) Gnadinger; the cherished grandmother of James
18(Geneva), William (Tracy), and David (Kathryn) Petersen, Julie
19(John) Julien, Jennifer (Eric) Danielson, Jillian Braun and
20Emily (Tommy) Corley, and John and Matthew Gnadinger; the
21great-grandmother of Hanna, Skyler, Kaylin, Jackson, Nathan,

1Natalie, Noah, Jacob, Justin, Emma, and Isabel; and the dear
2sister of Esther Quimby, Bonnie (Curt) Jackson, and Daniel
3Broskey; therefore, be it
 
4    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-NINTH GENERAL
5ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of
6Isabella M. Petersen Peck, and extend our sincere condolences
7to her family, friends, and all who knew and loved her; and be
8it further
 
9    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
10presented to the family of Isabella Peck of Joliet as an
11expression of our deepest sympathy.
