SENATE RESOLUTION

 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to
3learn of the death of Robert H. "Bob" Farley, Sr. of Chicago,
4who passed away on April 22, 2015; and
 
5    WHEREAS, Bob Farley was an avid tennis player, successful
6entrepreneur, and quiet benefactor to many in need; he loved
7spending time with family and friends and watching his children
8and grandchildren perform in sporting events, theater, and in
9life and will always be remembered for his generosity; and
 
10    WHEREAS, Bob Farley and his wife spent many happy winters
11at Jekyll Island and over 50 memorable summers at the Lake; and
 
12    WHEREAS, Bob Farley was the loving husband of 59 years of
13the late Nola G. Farley, R.N. for 59 and an amazing and loving
14father to 8 children, 38 grandchildren, and 7
15great-grandchildren; Bob and Nola's children, Robert H., Jr.
16(Jane), Karen, Brian (Debbie), Susan (John) Quinn, Jean Medina,
17Roger (Simone), Tricia (Gary) Dziabis, and Nola Jean (Ed)
18O'Keefe, miss him greatly and have fond and loving memories of
19their parents; Bob was a loving brother to Stephen (Kay)
20Farley, Frannie (Rosemary) Farley, and Marguerite (Russ)
21Anderberg; he was brother-in-law to Marilyn (the late Ray)
22Kucharski, Raymond (Phyllis) Dausman, Roger (Sharon) Dausman,

1Dorothy (Jack) Hickey, and Harold (Donna) Dausman; he was the
2fond uncle of many nieces and nephews; therefore, be it
 
3    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-NINTH GENERAL
4ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of
5Robert H. "Bob" Farley, Sr., and extend our sincere condolences
6to his family, friends, and all who knew and loved him; and be
7it further
 
8    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
9presented to the family of Bob Farley as an expression of our
10deepest sympathy.
