SENATE RESOLUTION

 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to
3learn of the death of William E. Harm of Richmond, who passed
4away on September 2, 2016; and
 
5    WHEREAS, William Harm was born on July 8, 1935 in Spring
6Grove; his parents were Earl and Hattie Harm; he married
7Marjorie Steadman on September 24, 1960 at Grace Lutheran
8Church in Richmond; and
 
9    WHEREAS, William Harm was a lifetime resident of the Spring
10Grove/Richmond area; he was a 1953 Richmond Burton Community
11High School graduate and inducted into the United States Navy
12in 1956, where he proudly served as a Communications - Teleman
13through 1957; and
 
14    WHEREAS, William Harm worked in the HVAC industry for many
15years; he owned his own business and worked for many others; he
16worked for the Richmond/Spring Grove School Districts and
17served on the Richmond Grade School Board; he also served as a
18Boy Scout leader and was an active member of Grace Lutheran
19Church in Richmond; and
 
20    WHEREAS, William Harm was preceded in death by his wife,
21Marjorie; his granddaughter, Deidre Harm; and his

1daughter-in-law, Kimberly Harm; and
 
2    WHEREAS, William Harm is survived by his daughter, Bonnie
3(Michael) Rabelhofer; his sons, Scott Harm, Jeffery (Jane)
4Harm, and Lance Harm; his grandchildren, Jonathan, Megan, and
5Matthew Rabelhofer, Morgan Harm, and Tyler Harm; his
6great-granddaughter, Vegas Harm; and his brother, Harold
7(Donna) Harm; therefore, be it
 
8    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-NINTH GENERAL
9ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we, along with his
10family and friends, mourn the passing of William E. Harm; and
11be it further
 
12    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
13presented to the family of William Harm as an expression of our
14sympathy.
